Simon Lewis Wards is an Auckland-based artist widely known for celebrating youth and kiwiana in his art. His Jet Set makes a sweet and playful reference to the jet plane lollies bought from the corner dairy and fit within his wider practice of using cast glass and ceramic techniques to create pop kiwiana sculptures which look almost edible.
